DECORAH, Iowa — Luther College is hosting its eighth Writers Festival on September 12-13, featuring 15 authors across fiction, nonfiction, and poetry. The festival theme for 2025 is "Writing is Magic." "In its effects on the readers who enjoy it and the artists who create it, writing is magic," said Amy Weldon, professor, head of Luther's English Department and co-director of the Writers Festival.
