COOKEVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — An arrest has been made after a wave of vandalism left several headstones damaged last week at a Cookeville cemetery.
According to a previous News 2 report, authorities believe the vandalism happened at the Cookeville City Cemetery along S. Walnut Avenue between 7:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Wednesday, July 30.
Investigators initially stated that eight headstones were knocked over. However, authorities announced that more graves were damaged, which brought the total number up to 32.
