Kiki’s Fresh Bowls, owned by Evergreen restaurateurs Tiffani and Rand Packer, will move a few doors down Evergreen’s main street to the former Baskin-Robbins space.

Baskin-Robbins, a staple of the town for decades, closed July 27.

The Packers are a strong influence in Evergreen’s thriving restaurant scene, running The Muddy Buck Cafe, Murphy’s Mountain Grill, Evoke 1923 and Kiki’s Fresh Bowls.

They recently expanded their influence to Morrison, with the July 31 opening of La Rocca Rossa restaurant in the former Prague Cafe site.

The Packers could not be reached for comment on Kiki’s move or what may replace it at its current site, which they own.

The former Baskin-Robbins opened in Evergreen in 1981, according to its original owner, Hary Teitelbaum.

“I am sad to see it go,” he said.
