COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) — There have been reports of flooding at the Ralston Tower after multiple leaks were reported, according to fire officials.

Initially, a viewer reached out to WRBL News 3 and shared video of the incident on Wednesday.

WRBL News 3 sent crews to the scene and there were firetrucks from Columbus Fire and EMS spotted outside the building.

Residents were ordered to evacuate the building and told WRBL News 3 that the bottom floor was flooded.

Columbus EMS and Fire Chief Daniel Macon told WRBL News 3 that there were multiple leaks in the building and several apartments are flooded.

Fire officials are currently working with those affected in the incident, according to Macon.
