The East Providence Police Department held its annual National Night Out on Tuesday, Aug. 5 at Pierce Memorial Field. The free community event strives to strengthen the community bond between East Providence residents and the members of the police department who are sworn to protect them.
The festivities on Tuesday night included Police K-9 and drone demonstrations, vehicle and equipment demonstrations, free giveaways, and plenty of food.
But it seemed based on the crowd that most would have been happy just with being able to see the wrestling show that was put on by members of The Official Wrestling Museum, which delighted attendees with high energy and acrobatics.
