A 31-year-old Oxford County resident is dead after a single-vehicle crash in Thames Centre, Ontario Provincial Police say.

It was shortly before midnight Sunday when emergency services were dispatched to Breen Road at Hamilton Road in the Municipality of Thames Centre following a report of a collision, the Middlesex OPP detachment said.

The investigation revealed that a vehicle travelling westbound on Breen Road, approaching Hamilton Road, “lost control and rolled”, police said.

The driver, a 31-year-old from Oxford County, died at the scene, police added.

Members of the Traffic Incident Management Enforcement (TIME) team attended the scene to assist with the investigation.

Breen Road and Hamilton Roads were closed for the investigation.
