STRASBURG — Strasburg residents ventured out Tuesday evening to celebrate National Night Out, a free community event that allows the public to interact with first responders while enjoying music, food and family-friendly activities.
“National Night Out is about working on continuing to build those community relationships, partnerships," said Strasburg Police Chief Wayne W. Sager. "It’s really who we are in Strasburg. We’re community-minded, community first.”
Celebrated on the first Tuesday of each August, National Night Out draws millions to events across the United States that promote police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie.
