HENRY COUNTY, Va. (WDBJ) - A missing 16-year-old boy and a 14-year-old girl were arrested for allegedly assaulting deputies Wednesday, August 6, according to the Henry County Sheriff’s Office.

The Henry County Sheriff’s Office responded Wednesday to a report of a missing juvenile who was found at McDonald’s at 2757 Virginia Ave in Collinsville.

Iverson Hart Covington was reported missing from his residence on Riverview Court Tuesday, August 5, according to deputies. After receiving information on his whereabouts, his mother responded to the McDonald’s location and found her son with two teen girls, according to deputies. Deputies say the mother called the Henry County Sheriff’s Office after multiple unsuccessful attempts to persuade her son to return home.
