RAWLINS -- American Legion Post 122's new Turn Two Academy has announced their first two-day baseball clinic to take place this Monday and Wednesday, August 11 and 13.

It is scheduled for the evening on both days, and will take place on the memorial ball fields across from the Rawlins Family Recreation Center. From 6:15-7:30 p.m., time is allotted for players ages 7-12. The older players' clinic is scheduled for 7:30-9 p.m. on the American Legion field, while the younger players will be in action on the softball field.

The offseason clinic is supposed to be the first of many for the Turn Two athletes. This week's event will allow the players to get to know the staff as well as familiarize with the brand new program. Though this time around the focus will be on baseball with the Post 122
