EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEVV) — Authorities are investigating after multiple homes were damaged by gunfire in Evansville on two different nights.
According to Evansville Police, these shootings happened not too far from each other, but they’re still working to determine if they’re related or merely coincidental.
The first shooting happened Monday night on Bayard Park Drive. Authorities say someone called 911 to report that their home had been hit by gunfire.
Within minutes, another call came reporting gunfire at an apartment complex less than a mile away on Lincoln Avenue.
Investigators found multiple apartment units with bullet holes and shell casings outside.
Early Wednesday morning, similar calls began coming in.
