FARGO — Cass County Vector Control has scheduled aerial mosquito spraying in the cities of Fargo, Moorhead, and West Fargo.
The spraying is scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 7 after 7:30 p.m.
Vector control says the community is currently at the highest risk level for the West Nile virus, with confirmed human infections and hospitalizations.
They also urge residents to take all necessary precautions to avoid mosquito bites.
A pre-application flight is scheduled for early Thursday morning to observe potential obstructions in the flight path. Vector control says that no insecticide will be applied during this flight.
