HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) -- Students in Tampa Bay's largest school district are getting ready to head back to school.

Leaders with Hillsborough County Public Schools held a news conference Wednesday to discuss the upcoming school year.

District leaders held the event at Aquilla Jackson Morgan High School in Wimauma to talk about the upcoming school year. The new school is now the largest in the county and will help with all the growth in the southern part of the county.

Junior Noel Cardentey transferred to the new school because of its new cosmetology program.

"It's a huge school. It reminds me of a college campus. There's a whole lot of opportunities for me to build my business that I'm going to be doing, which is barbering," said Cardentey.
