Head Coach Matthew Steinfeldt enjoyed a healthy amount of success in his first year at Conifer last season.

The Lobos finished 7-4 overall and 4-1 in the 3A West Metro League in 2024, marking the second consecutive season with winning records after a few mediocre seasons in 2021 (3-7) and 2022 (5-5). Conifer earned a No. 14 seed in the Class 3A state tournament, but lost to eventual semifinalist No. 3 Pomona 49-28 in the first round.

Though the Lobos graduated a few key seniors from last year’s squad, Steinfeldt is confident the team’s identity will remain true, even if the players in the jerseys change.
