As the summer draws to a close, so too do the Summer Nights at The Patch in Elizabeth. The Patch has been slowly expanding their offerings from the traditional pumpkin patch in the fall to year-round, family-friendly events.

The Patch describes Summer Nights as a chance to “slow down, spend time with your people, and enjoy simple things done well: good movies, good music, and space to just be.” The new event started on June 21 and ran through July, featuring movies like “Ice Age,” “The Greatest Showman” and “The Princess Bride.”

Summer Nights includes other aptly named activities: Foam on the Farm, Boots & Beats, Disc at Dusk and Country Club (Kinda). In other words, Summer Nights has foam parties, country dancing, glow Frisbee golf and miniature golf. A ticket also included a turn on
