EVANS, Ga. (WJBF)- Kids in Columbia County are back in the classroom as a new school year is underway.

But a change in the routine for parents is a new roundabout on Riverwood Parkway—and some are saying it’s a challenge.

County engineers installed a new roundabout here by Greenbrier Elementary School just in time for the new school year.

It’s here to make traveling around the area safer, but some parents say it’s made their commute a little more difficult.

After getting feedback from neighbors for the last 2 years, county leaders wanted to replace the 4-way stop at the intersection to improve traffic flow.

But parents say that’s not what’s going on.
