RICHMOND, Va. (WWBT) - The beginning of a new school year is always a time for fresh starts, but for one Richmond building it has a whole new meaning.
William F. Fox Elementary School is finally finished and ready to welcome students back for learning.
When students walk into the new building on Aug. 18, they’ll be greeted by bright classrooms, fresh paint, new books and colorful walls.
It marks the beginning of a new era for the Fox community, and it shows what rallying together and investment can do for students’ learning.
The inside of the historic building was destroyed three and a half years ago when a fire tore through it in the night.
