Sean "Diddy" Combs is looking ahead to his future, according to his lead attorney, Marc Agnifilo. In a recent interview, Agnifilo shared insights about Combs' aspirations following his trial, where a New York jury found him guilty of transportation to engage in prostitution but acquitted him of more serious charges, including sex trafficking and racketeering.
Agnifilo revealed that Combs expressed a strong desire to return to Madison Square Garden for a performance. "He’s going to be back at Madison Square Garden," Agnifilo stated, highlighting Combs' determination to continue his career in music.
During the interview, Agnifilo also discussed Combs' reflections on his life and the challenges he faces. He noted that Combs has been contemplating "the blessings that he's been given, on the imperfections that I think he sees in himself." Agnifilo emphasized that Combs is focused on reestablishing connections with his family, particularly his seven children and his mother.
"I think he wants to get out of jail, reestablish a loving, present relationship with all of his seven children. He wants to take care of his mother," Agnifilo explained. He described Combs as someone who is always striving for exceptional achievements, but currently, his primary goal is to reconnect with his loved ones.
Agnifilo concluded by stating, "I think the most demanding and challenging thing in front of him right now is to get back with his kids and get back with his mother, and the people who love him and miss him."
More details from Agnifilo's interview will be featured on "CBS Mornings" this Thursday.
