AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - The second of two Augusta budget meetings occurring this week wrapped up Wednesday evening.

The meetings allowed you to help shape the 2026 budget for the city.

As a part of each session, it showed an overview of the city’s budget process.

Flooding continues in Stevens Creek, threatening roads and property

Flash flooding continued into Wednesday morning in McCormick County, with at least two road closures after Stevens Creek overflowed.

Citizens in the audience used their platform to convey their priorities in the fiscal year 2026 budget.
