FOXBOROUGH, Mass. — The Washington Commanders and New England Patriots came together for a joint training camp practice on Wednesday ahead of their preseason contest on Friday night.

Head coaches Dan Quinn and Mike Vrabel had specific goals for their teams , centered around getting good work in for their players while controlling the environment to minimize risk to quarterbacks Jayden Daniels and Drake Maye. Coming out of the day, both the Commanders and Patriots likely feel they did some good work.

It was, however, the New England offense that will be most pleased with how they performed against the Washington defense in a chippy, yet effective, practice.
