BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – A motorcyclist was killed Wednesday afternoon in Goose Creek after colliding with another vehicle, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.

The driver of a 2013 Toyota SUV was attempting to turn left onto Corporate Parkway around 5:55 p.m. off of College Park Road when a motorcyclist on a 2001 Kowasaki traveling west collided with the passenger side.

The motorcyclist died on the scene, Master Trooper Mitchell Ridgeway said. The Berkeley County Coroner’s Office has not yet identified the deceased.

An investigation is ongoing.
