Peoria Chiefs beat Wisconsin as Mason Burns earns pitching save in front of his dad, more family and friends

PEORIA ( 25News Now ) - The Peoria Chiefs beat Wisconsin 6-4 in Midwest League action. The game was special for the hometown Peoria Chiefs pitcher. Mason Burns, a former Normal Community prep star who was born in Peoria, earned his 3rd save. Mason’s Dad flew to Peoria this week to watch his son and moments after the game’s final out there was a special father-son hug on the Dozer Field ball diamond.
