EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - USI Women’s Soccer is just about ready to start their season, with their opener on the road at Nebraska next week.
It’s a team with plenty of potential, much like last year, until injuries really brought the season down. This go around, Head Coach Eric Schoenstein says they expect to start all juniors and seniors. Not only does that group have experience on the pitch, but they’ve experienced success as well, finishing in the top four in the OVC the past two years, and reaching the conference quarterfinals twice as well.
