SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KCAU) — First responders pulled a vehicle from the Missouri River on Wednesday night while officials searched for a missing man.
The Sioux City Police Department said that at around 5:30 p.m. on August 6, they were notified by a couple of people about a colleague who had not been seen or heard from since 5 a.m.
Law enforcement said those individuals told them that the missing man, 47, was supposed to catch a flight at Sioux Gateway Airport, but he had not shown up.
Officials said they were able to get a hold of the rental car company the man used and accessed the GPS data to locate the vehicle in the area of 116 Larsen Park Road.
