SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KCAU) — Drivers passing through Sioux City on I-29 might expect some delays.
The right lane from the South Dakota border to Exit 149 is closed for construction. The Iowa DOT is repairing flood damage to that lane and the Lewis and Clark bike trail.
Work includes final stabilization of the interstate's foundation and riverbank along the Big Sioux River, repaving the trail, and adding a fence. Iowa DOT officials are asking all cyclists to be patient as repairs are completed.
