LAS VEGAS (KLAS) -- A "domestic dispute" between two men led to a barricade in the southeast valley, according to Las Vegas Metro police.

Officers responded to the 6500 block of Shining Sand Avenue near Hollywood Boulevard and Sahara Avenue on Wednesday shortly after 6:30 p.m.

Police told 8 News Now the suspect refused to surrender to police, and SWAT was called in to assist officers at the home.

The area around the neighborhood will be closed off as police investigate.
