RENO, Nev. (KOLO) - Jordan Santiago, 22, who was already in custody for a different shooting incident, has been additionally charged with discharging a weapon where persons may be endangered, carrying a concealed weapon without a permit, attempted murder with a deadly weapon, battery with a deadly weapon resulting in substantial bodily harm, and discharging a firearm from a motor vehicle in connection with the July 9 shooting at 6th and Lake streets in Reno, according to a Thursday, Aug. 7, police agency news release.

On the day of the gang-related incident, Reno Police officers arrived about 6:30 p.m. and found a man with gunshot wounds, the news release said.

The suspect had fled the scene.
