LAS VEGAS, Nev. (KOLO) - A Las Vegas woman has been sentenced to 30 months in prison for her role in the theft of 38 guns from a business in Overton, Nevada.

Alexis Breanna Worrell then illegally sold at least 20 of those guns. She pleaded guilty to one count of theft of firearms from a licensee and one count of possession of stolen firearms.

Meanwhile, her co-defendant James Caputo, was sentenced to six years in prison after he pleaded guilty to one count of theft of firearms from a licensee and one count of possession of stolen firearms.

On July 24, 2023, Worrell, Caputo and another person drove from Las Vegas to Overton. Caputo climbed onto the roof of the business and used tools to open a hole in the roof of the store, which had closed for the day.
