Shoplifters continue to plague a Coventry retail park as police pledge to take action. Sherbourne Police Team officers say that they are continuing to receive reports of thefts at the Alvis Retail Park.

They have asked shoppers and locals to help them crackdown on those responsible. "We continue to receive reports of shoplifting at the Alvis Retail Park." the team said in a community alert update.

"If you are out and about at that location please report anything suspicious to the store security team or our 101 reporting line." As well as appealing for help, the team themselves are also taking extra action.

"Officers will be at the retail park conducting mobile and foot patrols." the post adds. "This is also due to the area being vulnerable to anti-social behaviour."
