After years of working for other agencies, local ad industry veteran Nick Kaplan is building a new Richmond firm from scratch.

A 2008 VCU Brandcenter grad who’s held positions at New York’s Wieden + Kennedy and 72andSunny, and locally at Arts & Letters, Kaplan recently launched Another Thing, an agency he’ll run with co-founders Chris Pape and Mike Cassell.

The road to Another Thing began in 2021, when an opportunity to work at Arts & Letters with some former Wieden + Kennedy colleagues brought Kaplan back to Richmond.
