SEVILLE, Ohio — Although nobody won the $449 million Powerball jackpot in the latest drawing that was held on Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2025, the Ohio Lottery says there was one big winner here in Northeast Ohio that just hit a prize worth $1 million.
That winning ticket was sold at a Circle K in Seville , according to the Ohio Lottery. It was an auto-pick ticket that missed hitting the $449 million jackpot for only failing to match the Powerball itself.
Powerball officials say there were three other winning tickets worth $1 million that were sold in California, New Jersey and New York.
Even if you aren't the $1 million winner, you should still check your tickets because the Ohio Lottery says there were also thousands of other winners throughout the state in the Wednesday night drawing.
