The first counties set to be hit by the next UK heatwave as a fourth hot spell sizzles the country have been revealed. A 32C heatwave is set to return to the country and sizzle England with rising temperatures and a stifling humidity.

The first areas to be hit include Greater London, Surrey and Sussex, as well as the West Midlands conurbation including Birmingham on August 14, according to maps and charts from WX Charts, which use Met Desk data to project what lies ahead.

The full list of counties set to benefit are Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Greater London, the West Midlands, Hertfordshire and Kent as well as Oxfordshire and Surrey. West Sussex completes the list, according to meteorologists.
