DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — After almost one week of widespread storms that dropped up to a foot of rain in our area, drier days are finally here. But, they will not last long.

Drier air is moving in behind the stalled-out front that dropped rounds of rain on us since the weekend.

A few isolated showers moved through before 6 a.m., but dry conditions are prevailing this morning.

For your Thursday afternoon, rain chances will be between 30% and 40% areawide, as highs warm to near 90 degrees.

After Thursday, rain chances will gradually rise areawide.

They will be closer to 40% on Friday. By Saturday, they will be at or above 50 percent. Widespread activity is possible from Sunday until Tuesday.
