SAN FRANCISCO—On Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at approximately 11:22 a.m. in the morning, a two-vehicle accident between a black Lexus Sports Utility Vehicle (SVU) and a blue Mercedes-Benz coupe occurred on the north of Ocean Avenue exit on the Southbound of Interstate 280 (I-280). It temporarily blocked off the slow lane of I-280, which then affected the traffic of the exit off-ramp to Ocean Avenue.

The accident blocked the off-ramp exit to Ocean Avenue for approximately forty minutes for emergency responders. People who were involved in the accident, had minor injuries, causing the California Highway Patrol (CHP) to call for an ambulance, which temporarily blocked the I-280 off-ramp for first responders. Not only was an ambulance called to the scene, but a fire crew also was called as well
