All on-street parking will be cut at an industrial estate in Milton in a move that has divided opinion as some feared losing free parking when visiting the neighbouring country park. Cambridgeshire County Council has decided to extend the existing double yellow lines along Cambridge Road at the industrial estate.

The Traffic Regulation Order (TRO) to restrict on-street parking was proposed due to concerns about parked cars obstructing businesses. Most of the road within the industrial estate already has double yellow lines painted along each side. However, some gaps remain, leaving spaces where people are able to park.
