A pub in Greater Manchester has promised to conduct a 'full investigation' after a customer claimed his drink was 'spiked'.

The Toll Point in Denton said it takes the safety and wellbeing of its customers 'extremely seriously' and was 'concerned' to read about the incident online. It comes after Aaron Farricker shared a post on Facebook about his experience at the pub on Stockport Road last Saturday (August 2).

In the post, he said that he was only at the pub for around 40 minutes and bought just one drink - a spiced rum - during that time.

He had a 'big swig' of what he thought was his drink while he was in the smoking area, but it turned out to be a Southern Comfort.
