Police are investigating reports that a television reporter was 'stuck by a placard' while live on air in Greater Manchester.
GB News reporter Sophie Reaper was trying to interview counter-protesters at a demonstration outside a hotel housing asylum seekers in Altrincham at the time. Hundreds of people gathered outside Cresta Court for the protest where rival groups clashed.
While live on air, Ms Reaper can be seen amid the protesters before the crowd moves and she appears to be struck by a placard.
Police officers can be seen nearby in the footage, while a security guard moves to shield the reporter as she tries to walk away.
