COLONIE — From the food to the decor, is a homage to a family and chef’s communities in Mexico.

The restaurant recently held a grand opening celebration at its 1133 Central Ave., Colonie location after opening in March. It is a second restaurant for the Merino family, which also owns Viva Cinco de Mayo on Madison Avenue in Albany. The restaurant is owned by Vicente Merino-Martinez and his wife Isidra Lopez Merino. Their daughter Itzel Merino also works at the restaurant.
