WASHTENAW COUNTY, MI — As summer winds down, there are plenty of festivals commemorating the season in Washtenaw County this weekend.

In Ypsilanti, there is the Food Festival, plus the Ton-up Bike Show and Music Festival. In Dexter, the town will hold the Dexter Summer Festival.

Here are some fun things happening from Friday, Aug. 8, to Sunday, Aug. 10.

Ypsilanti Food Festival

Over 30 food and artisan vendors will line the University Park Commerce Center, 301 W. Michigan Ave., on Saturday, Aug. 9, for the inaugural Ypsilanti Food Festival. The event runs from 12:30 to 7:30 p.m.

There will be a wide selection of food served, including vegetarian and vegan options. There will also be live music, games and entertainment at the festival. Admission is free for all ages.
