REIDSVILLE, N.C. — A woman is in custody after allegedly stabbing a Greensboro woman to death Tuesday evening , according to the Reidsville Police Department.

Officers responded to a disturbance call around 5:37 p.m. in the 800 block of Summit Avenue. When they arrived, they found an unresponsive woman suffering from stab wounds.

The victim, identified as 27-year-old Brianna E. Best of Greensboro, was taken to a nearby hospital by Rockingham County EMS, where she later died.

Ana Tonche-Garza has been arrested and charged with voluntary manslaughter. She is being held on a $1 million secured bond, with a court appearance scheduled for Aug. 20, 2025.

Police say the investigation is ongoing.
