SHEBOYGAN FALLS, Wis. (WFRV) - While first responders were working to clear a nine-vehicle crash in Sheboygan County, another multi-vehicle crash happened with life-threatening injuries being reported.

Deputies with the Sheboygan County Sheriff's Office got multiple 911 calls reporting several crashes on State Highway 23 eastbound near Sunset Road in Sheboygan Falls around 7:35 a.m. on August 7.

It was noted in the release that visibility at the time was less than 1/10 mile due to heavy morning fog.

As deputies arrived at the scene, it was determined that there were at least 9 vehicles involved in the initial crash. While first responders were working to clear the crash, another six-vehicle crash happened west of the first incident.
