Mermaid artists (l-r) Bonnie Blue, Mary Beth Dugan and Melonie Massa present “Art Under the Sea, Be Your Inner Mermaid” at Bristol Warren Art Night, Thursday, Aug. 7 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Hotpoint Emporium at 39 State Street. A photo booth will be featured and guests with be given a chance to channel their inner mermaid for the camera. Maritime sailing legend Donna Lange, a two-time solo circumnavigator, will be performing songs of the sea, as well as signing copies of her book, Captain D. & Wise Mother Ocean, which was illustrated by Hotpoint artist Bonnie Blue. Food and drinks will be served; 10 percent of all sales will go to the Herreshoff Marine Museum’s youth sailing program.
