JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (WJHL) — Johnson City leaders are looking to limit alcohol sales throughout the city to 1 a.m.

An ordinance that the City Commission passed on first reading last month to change the "last call" time from 3 a.m. to 1 a.m. at downtown businesses will be amended at the commission's meeting on Thursday.

The meeting Thursday will include a public hearing and is set to start at 6 p.m. at the Municipal and Safety Building (601 East Main Street).
