Evergreen Lutheran Church’s 31 st annual Grove Sale drew big crowds and raised enough money to support multiple Evergreen and Conifer nonprofits.
“It was as successful as last year,” said Sandy Lipina, who helped coordinate the Aug. 2 donation-based sale. “We had some challenges with the weather, some pop-up thunder that made us scramble to cover up things. But despite that, the community came out in full support. Everyone was so appreciative of us doing the event because the funds go back to community.”
Groups that have benefitted from the sale in the past include Mountain Resource Center, EChO, Mt. Evans Camp Comfort and Loaves & Fishes.
