AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - An 18-year-old has been arrested in connection to a shooting incident at an Augusta apartment complex back in 2024, according to the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office.

Alfonzo Obannard was arrested on Wednesday, according to jail bookings.

Deputies say that on Aug. 23, 2024, they responded to the 2200 block of Southgate Drive, The Pointe at Augusta, in reference to shots fired into a home.

According to the incident report, deputies saw one bullet hole in the front of the victim’s apartment that went through three walls.
