Some summer school teachers in Montgomery County, Maryland, haven't received their full pay because of an issue with a new payment system, the superintendent said in a letter to staff.
"What we know is that approximately 400 affected employees have received their pay, but approximately 200 employees are still waiting for their full pay," Superintendent Thomas Taylor said.

A few employees haven't been able to enter time cards at all, he said.
Montgomery County Public Schools has had issues in the past with summer pay, but the transition to a new system amplified the problem this year, according to Taylor.
