PALM COAST, Fla. (WFLA) — A Palm Coast woman was arrested after she posed as a licensed nurse and provided care to more than 4,000 unsuspecting patients, the Flagler County Sheriff's Office announced.
A seven-month investigation began in January 2025 after hospital administrators reported they had terminated Autumn Bardisa, 29, for impersonating a registered nurse, FCSO said.
Bardisa allegedly used another person's license number and submitted false documentation to be employed as an advanced technician at AdventHealth Palm Coast Parkway.
Bardisa was hired on July 3, 2023, as an advanced nurse tech and worked under the supervision of a registered nurse, the hospital said.
When Bardisa applied for the position, she indicated that she was an "education first" registered nurse, which mean
