Sometimes, I scroll through the street-style photos from New York , London , Milan and Paris fashion weeks, and think: “What the actual hell is going on?” Never more so, though, than during Copenhagen , which thanks to its reputation as a more colourful, offbeat epicentre of style, tends to attract fashion’s most experimental, attention-seeking dressers. This isn’t a bad thing – it’s sort of interesting that guests are throwing down the gauntlet to harmony and proportion and function – but I do find myself wondering what these people would look like without all the fanfare, and whether their looks constitute style or something else entirely: a fashion fancy dress.
