FLINT, MI - The annual 810 Day celebration is returning to downtown Flint on Sunday, Aug. 10, bringing an afternoon and evening full of live music, local fashion, food trucks and community pride.

The free event will take place from 2-10 p.m. at Manhattan Park, located at 401 Martin Luther King Blvd.

Now in its fourth year, the celebration aims to uplift Flint talent and businesses, with a focus on fashion and the arts. Nine local designers are expected to participate in this year’s fashion show, which begins at 5 p.m.

“The significance is getting our local designers and talent showcased and spotlighted on a big stage,” said event organizer Adriana Lanice. “We want all of our community to come out and see and shop with their local people.”
