MT. MORRIS TWP, MI - Police are investigating a string of overnight vehicle break-ins and thefts reported across several residential streets in Mt. Morris Township.

The incidents occurred in the areas of Angola, Collins Avenue, Estrelle Avenue, Elstner, and Nutana Avenue, according to a Mt. Morris Police Department Facebook post.

Several residents have reported their vehicles being either broken into or stolen during the night.

In some cases, vehicle windows were shattered to gain entry, police said.

Police are reminding residents to remove valuables from their cars, lock the doors, and avoid leaving items in plain sight.

Security images captured by a local business show two individuals who may be connected to the incidents, police said.
