Walker firefighters at scene of major gas leak

WALKER, MI -- Walker firefighters are at the scene of a gas leak on Fruit Ridge Avenue NE just north of I-96.

Firefighters, in a 2:15 p.m. Friday, Aug. 8 Facebook post, said traffic in the area is shut down. They described the situation as a major leak.

They also said employees at local businesses have been asked to shelter in place.
